Firstly there are bassinet cribs. A bassinet crib is sometimes known as a basket or Moses basket crib. They're the style of a carry basket and can be put on a stand. Occasionally they're rocker cribs and the basket can generally be taken off the stand. They don't take lots of room so a bassinet style crib is a perfect solution if you have a tiny space.

How can I transition my daughter from her bassinet to her crib?
My 2 month old has been sleeping in our room in her Pack n Play bassinet since she was born. She only has about 1 lb left to grow before she is too big for it, though, so I need to get her in her crib. Every time I lay her in the crib, she wakes right up.
My mom suggested putting the pad from the Pack n Play in the crib, but beyond that, I have no idea how to get her to sleep in there!
I had this problem too and what I did to solve was swaddle the baby before putting her down. I think the reason she didnt like the crib at first was because it was such an open less "safe feeling" space considering they r being cramped in the womb and then again in the bassinet I bet they really miss this closeness when u try to trsansition, but like I said swaddling sloved this problem right away.
